Today we had our first visit with DKV. We are long time patients with Dr. Whitmire but new to this practice. After a long night in the ER, DKV was able to squeeze us in for an unscheduled follow-up appointment. We had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Wolfe for the first time and she was WONDERFUL!! My husband and I are so eternally grateful for Dr. Wolf and her team! We moved her from out of state with our 13 year old heeler. He has always been anxious and not the nicest guy around. Turns out he has Cushings and has been in treatment with Downtown Knoxville Veterinary and is so much happier! Hamilton is now 14 years old and is thriving! I recently became a mom to a puppy golden who was given to me sick and was underdosed at other vets for parasites, he wasn’t gaining weight and was so lethargic and in pain. I called other vets and they couldnt get me in till next week, even with all of his symptoms. At downtown knox veterinarian, they heard I had a young puppy and immediately MOVED around their own schedule to make time.
