I have been bringing my kids to this office for some 15 years now and we always had a very good experience here. Now that my dentist of 20 years has retired I was looking for a new place to go to for my own dental care. It was a no brainer to join my kids and switch to Dr. Spano where we enjoyed great service for so long.
South Side Dental has been providing dental care to me for several years and the experience has been pleasant and professional. My most recent experience, which was somewhat complex, was handled with skill and in a manner that was reassuring.
Everything excellent - easy to make appointments, makes insurance stuff hassle free, always on time - friendly staff - professional dental assistant and dentist. Awesome

My dentist of past 37 years just retired. I was nervous about finding a new dentist. No worries, Dr Galina was awesome. Knowledgable and experienced, and a wonderful "chair side manner". I felt like I was in "good hands". I got the feeling that, the suggestions she made for my dental care, were motivated by her desire to help me maintain my optimal oral health and not by what would be "frivolous and expensive". Everyone at Southside Dentristry is so nice! They know our family and ask how we are doing. The care given when getting a basic cleaning is excellent. They make sure you are comfortable thru the whole agonizing process!
I just relocated to Cville and discovered South Side Dental because I wanted a dentist close to home. The office staff and Dr. Spanno is a total delight, friendly, professional and caring. It is great to have established care with such wonderful professionals.
I have extensive dental work from earlier in life, Dr Spano and his team take excellent care of me - even in situations like this time (broke a tooth the day before going to a reunion. They worked me in - fixed the tooth and fixed the one next to it to remove a discolored filling.
