I highly recommend South Side Dental Center for various reasons. I have always been seen on time. Dr. Spano is very careful and doesn’t recommend unnecessary work. All of the hygienists are very efficient. I’ve gone to them for years and will continue to do so. If you are looking for a dentist, this is the place to go.
This is hands down the BEST dental office I’ve ever been to. Friendly staff, clean facility The list goes on. If you’re new to town or just looking for a new dentist. Look no further. This is the place. I guarantee you wont regret it.

Dr. Spano and the entire crew make going to the dentist fun (almost). Capable and caring, I refer anyone who asks (with confidence).
It was excellent, The dentist was real and upfront with me and so was the hygienist. The front desk folks were extremely pleasant also.
I'm a new Charlottesville resident and had been going to the same dentist in Washington, DC, where I moved from, for over 30 years. Needless to say, I was apprehensive, maybe even scared, about finding a new dental practice. I've found it at South Side, which was recommended by a new friend. I was in the office on Friday 10/6 for my second cleaning with Janice. And the experience was excellent.
Recently I had a tooth pulled at South Side Dental, and the experience was very positive. The entire process was quick and painless. Everyone was very friendly, and I highly recommend South Side Dental for all of your dental needs!
