RecommendedOur cat went in for dental cleaning and extraction. During COVID restrictions DACC made the process very easy with parking lot drop off and pick up. A staff member called the following evening to check in and I was impressed by that follow through. Much appreciated! Thank you for all you do!
They microchipped a 10 year old dog into someone else's name without questioning proof of ownership, then told me it couldn't be changed unless the person who's name they put on the microchip gave permission which she declined. I have the documentation of ownership to prove I am the owner and they did not care. They gave him shots and neutered him as well. Granted I know it's best to neuter dogs to prevent over population of dogs, but it's the principle.Makes it easy for dogs to be stolen. This is awful practice and reported... read more

Thanks to the wonderful staff today for their care given to our pup, Blackberry/Bagel. He was reunited with his Sister, Blueberry who was also receiving services on the same day! How wonderful that the sweet siblings shared the same recovery pad/bed! We are planning to arrange some play days for our New Hope Cattle Dog Rescue pups. — in Bailey, Colorado.
Downtown Animal Care Center has been an awesome vet since I first adopted my dog 5 and a half years ago. I trust them, that’s probably the most important thing after all. We continue to use them as a vet whenever we can even though we no longer live in the near vicinity. The are very much a value driven business as well as a not for profit, which is almost like a unicorn. They do a ton for the Denver pet community, their prices are beyond reasonable, and they host even more for those with less to afford. I would love to see ... read more

I love the clinic as a whole, I've been bringing my dog here for nearly 9 years. Today we encountered Dr. Carter for the first time, I must say he is a rude and condescending piece of garbage. I was in today with my Dog for his shots, and Dr. Carter was snapping at the staff and just plain rude to them as if he is some sort of higher power or whatever, my dog growled at him and he insisted he get muzzled and never once spoke to me. I will come back but not when that garbage vet is on duty.
