Thank you to Gwynn for saving Christmas! Called her on Monday & she checked to find an in stock saddle that fit what I needed for a gift. It arrived today!!! (After another company failed to deliver from way back in October!) Super customer service!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS - I ordered a saddle from them. It smelled like a decomposing dead animal. My entire house reeked. I put the saddle into my truck, and weeks later, the truck still reeks like dead decomposing animal. I had to have the truck professionally cleaned in order to get the smell dampened. Then, I returned the saddle. I took pictures of the contents of the box, and the saddle, as I was packing the box to Return it. There was no damage to the saddle before I put it in the box. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Ordered a girth was then told oops not available but they did have another option $40 dollars more they could offer. Isn't that bait and switch? Customer service response was not on par with what you would expect from a reputable company. Buyer beware.

Ordered a Kimberly Superior saddle from this company, and needed to send it back to have the tree adjusted. Company calls me to verify what was needed, and had to inform them that my horse had just died a week previously. No problem! They offered to keep my saddle until I get my next horse so we could save on shipping charges. This is my 2nd saddle (plus accessories) from DUSS, and I highly recommend them. Really disappointed in the service. I ordered something two months ago, it never arrived, getting a reply to emails was difficult. Told to track the package myself, I have and it's now gone from London to New York...I am in Scotland. Asked for a refund and told won't get one. The postal service will only refund the seller...but still they won't refund me, so now £60 out of pocket 😰

Hi Karen, part of the difficulties you are complaining about have to do with your choice of shipment method. Although it is a less expensive option, it appears that using the United States Postal Service, which then has to hand it off to Royal Mail, results in unexplained rejections and returns back to the United States. Like you, we have difficulty tracking what is happening with these shipments, and we do not know why it was rejected and sent back to New York from London. Talked to them and asked if they could make me a right and left pair of fox hunting sandwich cases dyed in black. And they did. They are beautiful! Also asked if they could make wire cutter case to carry and dye it black. And they did. So happy.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the store today and they are taking care of me. Thank you Down Under Saddle Supply for standing by your product and taking care of your customers. I order a pair of small wither saddle bags, the product and the description DID NOT match up, the buckles are put on upside down, and there is a rub damage on the side, fleece lined etc. all missing from the description. I have emailed, facebooked and called, no response yet on how to return, I am guessing they will contact me after 14days so I have to e... read more
