Menu needs to have some ideas , i am a vegetarian and they have specific tasting menu for vegetarian which cost you 125$ and what you get is spoonful of an item which has only citrus in it right from number 1 to 8 which was dessert ! How can you be awarded michelin rating for being so mundane? None of the item had any taste apart from being citrus in nature and beyond that your waiting stuff buggs people for changing silverware ... which is absolutely crap and waste of energy. Unless you are an old white man this restaurant will not treat you well. Plenty of other wonderful places to eat in NYC.

I had a lovely experience at Dovetail 5 years ago - hands down one of the best fine dining experience ever. After my Masters Graduation, I wanted to come back to Dovetail to revive the wonderful experience I had in the past. Unfortunately, I had a HORRIBLE time - the food was 2 hours late, and there was no service from the Dovetail team whatsoever to make up for the lack of preparation/poor staffing.
