I would like to know when and what law was passed that states it’s legal for an officer from your department wearing plain cloths and driving the parking enforcement truck pulling people over.
April 8th - Thank you to Officer Volpe who came to my rescue when I had trouble getting up out of the gully along side the sidewalk where I was picking up trash.
Last night I saw an officer carry an elderly ladies belongings down the street for her in the snow. He managed to get her to the dunkin donuts with all her stuff so she would be warm. I'm not sure who the officer was, I was at work and couldn't stop to talk to him. Your officer made more than one person's night, just seeing him walking with her in the cold when he really didn't have to is the definition of honor, courage and commitment. Last night officer Gebers responded to an accident involving my 16 year old daughter (my daughter was at fault). Officer Gebers was amazing. My daughter was very distraught and officer Gebers did a great job at reassuring her that everything was okay but at the same time being firm with her as to what just happened and giving her a lesson in the reality of it all. I truly appreciated how he handled her and the situation and I’m grateful to live in such a great town with an amazing police staff �
I am a student at UNH, and it is common for police officers to be stationed on UNH buses during busy "party" weekends. Tonight I was on one of these buses and observed a few interactions between a dover police officer and a few intoxicated women that was unprofessional and off-putting. The women were falling around on their seats, yelling about how they planned to "grab the hot cop" on their way out, something I would consider assault.
