RecommendedLast night my car broke down on Exit 7 near Burger King. Two officers were there within minutes to stop traffic and push my car safely across the street to the Citgo parking lot. AAA towing eventually showed up to tow my car to a service station. Thank you so very much to these helpful police officers!
They allow a sexual predator to walk around free without checking in for over a YEAR probably longer than that you are a pathetic police department only after the u.s. marshals office found out did you tell the public he’s a threat not the whole year he’s not registered he wasn’t a threat? Called about a crazy loud noice complaint, not only myself . But I can only speak for myself. The officer that responded said she didn’t think it was that bad. It was more calls into the late evening and still Dover pd did nothing. The worst of it was when not only the officer but the dispatcher had no clue what the noise ordinance was in Dover . We know several officers on the force and they are good people. Never had any issues and support them however we can.
Love seeing the horse out around time.
Today I saw something i've never seen an officer do. I was on oak st after passing RT 4, in an unusually long line of traffic. the traffic lights are obviously automated and cannot understand traffic fluctuation. Suddently blues showed up in the long line of cars. Proceeded to the intersection to direct traffic. It appeared it was 100% on his own accord. Dover PD really is one of the ONLY police departments to protect and serve the community. Outstanding job on an outstanding force, that takes initiative.
I support the Blue Line and every Officer, everywhere..
