About this business
We have stayed in KOA'S from Hampton, Ga to Douglas, Wy. This is the best. We came here the first time in 2005 And have been coming every year since. The staff, Jodi and Dirk are the greatest. Everything is always clean and everyone is always helpful. No other KOA compares to this one. We have stayed in KOA'S from Georgia to California and back. Going the northern route west and coming back the southern route. If you never been here you should come and visit and check it out. Love this place.

RecommendedWe travel for my husbands job, so we have stayed at quite a few campground.. this was by far the best campground! They kept it very clean & made sure everyone followed the rules. Especially with speeding and quiet hours. The staff were very sweet and always loved on my obnoxious 18 month old daughter that got into everything. They never made it seem like she was a bother or in the way. Thank You Douglas KOA for acting as if we were family and taking care of all of our needs!!

Super friendly staff !! And they actually take a minute and talk with you. It feels like you are right at home !! I will definitely be coming back at the end of August and hopefully move in full time with a camper down the road... I can’t wait to keep in touch with y’all ❤️
It ‘s a well-kept Campground with many amenities. The pool and mini golf course are really nice. Bathrooms/ showers are nice and clean.The staff is friendly and helpful. However, I do have two complaints. First, trees are extremely scarce. It was 98 degrees and no shade. There are 3 sites with a tree. Not a welcome place in the summer. And there is only one dog park which is located at the far end of the campground. There really should be another one as it is a very long walk, depending on where your site is located. Nice location and lots of amenities. Very pleasant and attentive staff
The grounds are very neat, friendly staff, wifi, and a fenced in grass enclosure for my pets. I would definately recommend this campground.
The ladies in the office were very nice and friendly. The store was well equipped with lots of items Rv’ers might need plus food and local custom gift items. Lots of pull through sites and lots of room for maneuvering. One of the nicest grassed dog parks we’ve been to. We were at the back of the park -close to horses !😊 and WiFi was a problem but wind may have been a factor. We would stay here again. Well maintained!
Great owners that will treat you like family.
So grateful to be here, great pens for our horses, full hookups. A wonderful relief from being without all that for a few days. Thank You!
