We have stayed in KOA'S from Hampton, Ga to Douglas, Wy. This is the best. We came here the first time in 2005 And have been coming every year since. The staff, Jodi and Dirk are the greatest. Everything is always clean and everyone is always helpful. No other KOA compares to this one. We have stayed in KOA'S from Georgia to California and back. Going the northern route west and coming back the southern route. If you never been here you should come and visit and check it out. Love this place.

We were sidetracked to Douglas, WY when our motor home broke down on I-25 about 16 miles south of town. We were towed to the Douglas KOA where we were treated royally....even better than family. We ended up staying for 4 nights and this unplanned stop was one of the highlights of our 18 day vacation. They went more than out of the way to take excellent care of us. I would definitely recommend this park to anyone planning to be in the Douglas, WY area. A special thanks to all the staff each of whom we immediately fell in love... read more
Having driven around America, and stayed at multiple KOA's, I can tell you that this is THE BEST one that I have stayed at. From the breakfast events, to the Italian sodas or s'mores, to the on-site mini golf, this place is just brilliant. The staff are very friendly and courteous, WiFi coverage is pretty good, toilets and showers are clean and well kept, and the swimming pool looks great. There is some noise from nearby traffic when in the camp sites, but this dies down late at night. Tent sites are also well sheltered from... read more
One of the best experience we’ve ever had at a campground. The place is very clean and beautiful and the staff is very friendly, always willing to go an extra mile to make us feel at home. Kay and McKenzie are really awesome and great with everyone! If you are searching for a place to stay for a night or more than that, do not miss this KOA! You’ll love it. Shane and Sid Ralph
Nice place, people are friendly but, the best spots are for those staying for only one night. The spots in the campground are not level at all and with holes. Oh, internet service? Non-existent. If you are on an extended stay on the campground....there is NO internet connection. This totally sucks when you have to work. I was told that if I needed internet connection, I should go to the office. :/ Note to self: Free Wi-Fi = NO Wi-Fi.
Business response:
We do not have record of this camper ever being registered or staying with us so we are confused by her comments. No one by this name ever approached us in the office about this either. It is too bad that this has to be put on Facebook and not dealt with in person. We have been rated by many other campers as one of the best places to stay in Douglas with little complaint of our services and we always strive to be prompt in rectifying any issues that may arise.
We love to stay at this KOA! Everyone is so friendly. The grounds, restrooms, and showers are spotless! We stayed here on our way from Colorado to South Dakota three years ago, and came back through again last week. Good Luck with your upcoming carnival! See you again the next time through. :)
