While I'm not leaving a comment based on a personal experience, I think that it's crucial to do so. My Mom is 94 years young, and is in exceptional health; considering all that she's endured. She is my rock, especially given the fact that she's a two time bladder cancer survivor. I can say w/certainty that she has done so well, due in large part; to Dr. Marinakis! I hope and pray she continues to thrive, and perhaps some day; I can thank Dr. Marinakis in person.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr Trate and his staff. They were all extremely kind and caring. I was able to make an appointment quickly. I felt like I was in great hands!
Dr. Trate is great but it can be near impossible to call the office....Busy signal or cutoff now for over an hour.
My wife was seen by this Dr. for stomach issues that have been going on for months. She was seen twice, once for the initial visit, and the second was for an upper endoscopy. She was contacted by their nurse that the Dr. would see her in three years. Never resolved the issue! Had one test, and be told to see you in three years. I would like to ask the Dr. to take a flame and hold it against his throat, and say "I want to see you in three year!" Poor excuse for a Dr. let alone a specialist!
I found him to be very caring and thorough. He really wanted to get to the root of my problem. I'm great now. Yes, there have been long waits at times, but not his doing. So many folks needing help...I have also spoken with others who liked him. I would recommend him.

Left me waiting in the waiting room for two hours while in excruciating pain, then scolded me for having my doctor set up the appointment rather than waiting. When I asked for medication to help with the pain, he gave me a shot of anti inflammatory and sent me off with no prescription. I was in the ER again that night. he offers little to no explanation to my problem, most of what he says. Honestly, I'd rather drive to Charlotte or hickory than see dr. M. Again.

Thank you for your feedback. i apologize that you had to wait, but should clarify that i don't make ANYONE wait to be seen. I see patients as they are scheduled and walk in appointments unfortunately may have to wait. I will ensure my staff does better at informing patients about wait times. Sometimes an urgent care clinic or ER is more suitable for acute pain issues. As for the choice of medication that you were offered, I strive to provide the best evidence based therapy that I can.
Dr. Marinakis is wonderful. He explained procedure so well that I didn't find anything on Google he hadn't already told me. Staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Excellent experience all the way around. From the beginning of making an appointment, the initial visit with very qualified and friendly staff, to the day of my procedure and after. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I went to him because of all the recommendations I've received from my friends, who thinks this guy is great. I must agree.
