As someone who’s been a renter for almost 15 years, at many different residential properties, I’ve never had an experience like I did with Douglas Residential. Rent here if you’d like to be unexpectedly charged ($1000+) for maintenance that is at the obligation of property management. Long story short, Home Depot caused a slow leak when removing the dishwasher(the day the lease began) and we were charged for the cleanup. Cathy Douglas has been the most unprofessional and disappointing property manager I’ve dealt with. Despite the claims made on their website, there was a complete lack of communication and customer service. Emails went unanswered for weeks, and unexplained charges were added with no prior notice. Basic responsibilities were consistently neglected, and there was no effort to resolve issues in a timely or respectful manner.
