My wife had ankle surgery and couldn't walk afterwards because of numbness and foot pain. He said it will get better but got worse. Went to another doctor within sutter network and was told the type of repair surgery wasn't done anymore. 3 yrs later and 2 more surgery's later. Still has numbness and pain but at least can walk most of the day, unfortunately, because it was her right foot, she can't drive. Its been a nightmare...

I do not recommend this doctor I had to have another foot surgery due to a failed surgery done by him. My complaints about pain fell on deaf ears and I was told to go back to work even though I couldn't walk without aweful pain. I know several other people who will need another foot surgery to fix what he didn't fix or worst yet, caused. He retired then came out of retirement to work in another practice. Dr. Hight should stay retired and throw in the towel so no more people have to suffer.
