I use to love this place but now every time I call or need something its horrible. The people answering the phones and at the front desk are so rude!!! When I went in Feb because my daughter was sick they wanted me to pay in full! They said my insurance required that. When i got home and called insurance company they said that is wrong you have a $30 copay! WTH!!! I am looking for a new doctor now. I will never walk in there again unless its to get records.
The front staff is the rudest people that I have ever encountered! It’s so sad, but I will never go back to this office of great physicians again!
I do not understand what has happened to this place. My son who is 16 has been going here since we moved to Douglas County. We loved Dr. Baldwin and even followed Dr. Lamar to Sandhill Pediatrics in Carrollton. Dr. Lamar retired and we came back to this location and have never seen a doctor since, always nurse practitioners. They never answer the phone and today they told me my son was a new patient after 11 years. He goes every year for a check up!!!!!! The nurse tells me she doesn’t have file on them. I have always loved going to Douglas Pediatrics, between all of my children we have been going for 20 years. My children loved the doctors and nurses that were there. Dr. George was their primary doctor when all of them were born, we loved him. I don't have to take my kids to the doctor often because they don't get sick very much at all, so it has been a few years since my son has been. Been coming here for 17 years with my kids and have never had a problem..until now! Since having new owners, new office staff and Dr. Baldwin leaving it’s now a joke!!
We love them great nurses and Doctors. My Baby Girl Emeri has been going to the doctor here since she was born .p
Let me clarify first that my children have been well cared for under their care. My major issue is that I received a "final statement" threatening collections for a bill that was paid almost 2 months prior. Furious doesn't begin to describe how I feel about this situation. It's enough for me to seek other care for my children's health.
