Dr. Edgar Melendez is great. My children have been here since 2012. Over the last few months they hired a new nurse staff and this has been the worst ever. The old staff wasnt the best but this new staff is pitiful. They are slow, nobody knows anything, and they act confused. IM mad as we have been here too long for this.Im changing my kids Dr. asap
Doctor Melendez has been great. The front office on the other hand needs to be replaced from office manager on down. Been trying to get my son in to get his shots and have been told repeatedly that they didn’t have any. Found out today that because of some new law vaccines have to ordered through insurance or administered at the public health department. Something that they should have informed us about over the phone the first time.

We have been going here for 14 years and today will be the last time we will go here. Sad to say this place has gone down hill!! Staff upfront was unprofessional and uncaring! Left before we were seen and went to the hospital.
A member of my family has been a patient at Douglas pediatrics since my birth in 1976. My little brothers were there. Both my kids have been. Half of douglasville has been there. Today when I took my daughter in for a sick visit, I was asked to sign in and have a seat, they would call me up in a minute to pay and fill out some paperwork. I used to love the Doctors but the rest of the staff are ridiculous. There's no reason to get an attitude when I am trying to explain to you what the doctor told me our last visit. every job is a service, people can go elsewhere. if no one comes to you, your no longer needed therefore you no longer have a job, should probably think about that next time you want to cop an attitude.
