Some furniture showed signs of wear, but otherwise a very nice place to stay. Very pleasant staff!
The building itself is old, but it seems like they have recently updated paint and carpets. The 2 stars were earned due to the room being dark with multiple problems. The light in the entry didn't work, the TV didn't work, and one of plugs did not work. I recommend skipping this place if others Hotels are available.
Such a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree Harrisonburg. I was coming in for work and we chose the DoubleTree for those cookies, well the hotel looked fun, and the cookies were just a plus. I chatted via the app pre-arrival to see if we could get an upgrade and was able to get into a larger room. Laurie was able to help. Cockroach’s , my bathroom was full of them. I have stayed at this location for work proposes a number of time and it keeps sinking lower and lower in quality. I’ll never step foot in this location again after seeing my bathroom floor crawling with bugs . What a shame it’s in a great location within walking distance to a number of restaurants)
Had a wonderful time at the Doubletree hilton. The front desk was expertly handled by Laurie. The food was.deliously prepared by the always pleasant Herman( aka snoopdog.... micheal Jordan) and the hostess Dee was delightful.and sweet. Thank you all for for making our evening and morning great and restfull. Linda Elliott
