Dr. Dossett is a very knowledgeable surgeon. He helped my husband with his back issues, but did not totally rectify his health problems. His office staff, his billing staff, and after-surgery-care-service were less than amenable. We have to pay to get a letter from him to prevent my husband from coaching, as his injuries and rehab are not fully healed. Our credit card expired, so our payment plan stopped, but they didn't inform us until we tried to schedule a follow-up.
He is an amazing doctor, and he takes his job very serious . I would definitely give him and his team a 5 star .

EXCELLENT! Incredibly professional. I can’t tell you how many nurses and doctors I interviewed and many nurses that I interviewed said that if they were going to have spine surgery this would be the guy that they would go to. Dr Dosett is precise, skilled and tells it like it is. Exactly what you need and want in a surgeon! He visited with pre & post surgery was courteous with my guests. Dr. Dossett performed a spinal fusion (L3-L5), with bone grafts on my wife, November 14, 2017. He is as good a surgeon as there is in the United States. His is a dry wit, but don't mistake this for not caring. The entire team at Carrell Clinic is excellent, and I recommend Dr. Dossett without reservation.
Dr. Dossett was excellent! His bedside manner is wonderful. He explained the problem and gave me all of my options. He was even willing to help me have surgery quicker because of my insurance changing. I recommend Dr. Dossett with no reservation for any of your orthopedic needs! -Jamie Cook
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! After not being able to walk X 5 years & I have 2 children, he told me to "deal with it"..That's it? 2 min & thats it? I was not there looking for a friend so his "dry sense of humor" is a nonfactor for me. He was just plain unprofessional! If you are not a pro athlete or will not have an article written so he can be recognized as THE doctor that helped, he will NOT waste his time. Staff member told me that my surgery is complicated & Dossett doesn't LIKE to do. BEWARE!!
My father has lower back & spine issues. He is directly in Dr. Dosset's specialty area & wanted a 2nd opinion on an MRI where he was told he needed a spinal fusion. He HAS NOT had prior surgery on his spine yet I was refused an appointment by assistant Erin. I kindly asked her to tell me what surgery she was referring to. At this point she changed & said "maybe he needs more work than Dossett wants to do". Patient shopping at it's worst...
Would be great if he and his staff weren't arrogant and fake.
