I LOVED Dr Dosset. He made me relax, he was very direct with my issues and most of all he made me well. Probably a typical surgeon being very much business but he was also funny and made me feel comfortable, secure and assured that he had it all handled. And he did. My surgery went perfect and my back is great a year later.

Great office staff, PA, X/ray Tech, scheduler(Erin) and above all, a great doctor that cares. Can’t say enough good things about how they handle their patients and explain just what is going on with your spinal problems.

Dr. Dossett and his practice is elite in the care of spinal conditions. My experience with Dr. Dossett has been he is conservative is his approach. He is not a "cut first" surgeon. Which I appreciate. When the time came for surgery, it was a joint decision with surgical options offered and thoroughly discussed. The day of surgery I was put at ease. Dr Dossett has given my husband back his quality of life. After choosing Dr Dossett for a second opinion we were stunned to find out he was under diagnosed here in Waco. Two surgeries were done to correct spinal stenosis issues. Every staff member from imaging personnel to janitors at surgery center were lovely people. Definitely not the norm for hospital personnel. Every person I talked with lived their job and felt like they were treated well. Which explains the great patient care.

I went to Dr. Dossett due to an issue with my spine that was having a severely negative impact on my daily life. Dr.Dossett explained the various ways to improve my situation, telling me the pros and cons of each. I chose surgery. The outcome of the surgery has been amazing and has dramatically improved the quality of my life. Awful bedside manner! After an emergency discectomy, patient was discharged. The doctor was contacted about extensive pain, but Dr. Dossett said "you had back surgery and should expect pain". The patient had to insist that the Dr. see the patient. Dr. Dossett agreed reluctantly and immediate follow up surgery was required. Not all surgeries go as planned, but this patient felt like it was an imposition to get the required care. Notable is patient has drop foot and sciatica after 2nd surgery.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Dossett for a second opinion after surgery was recommended by another orthopedic surgeon. From Vanessa the receptionist, to America his nurse, to Richard, the X-Ray tech, Erin his scheduler, EVERYONE was so warm and caring, while answering any questions I had. Dr. Dossett was very personable and spent plenty of time answering my questions and putting me at ease. He's very knowledgeable & have nothing but positive things to say about Dr. Dossett and his staff.
