Absolutely wonderful! – Wandered in around 5pm on a Saturday night with no reservation, the hostess was very friendly and gave us a table but informed us that we had to be gone by 7pm because they were booked solid. The waitress was also very good, Nice atmosphere, candles made a good ambiance. We saw the whole staff taste testing the nightly specials with the chef as he explained them. Thought that was good that they got to taste what they had to describe and serve. We had the guacamole which was fabulous! The Mahi Mahi Tac... read more

SOOO OVERATED! My friends recommended this restaurant because they liked all aspects of this restaurant. Considering that this restaurant is $$$ meal price the neon pink and green sign in front of the restaurant (Dos Caminos Soho) devalues the restaurant. The ambience of the restaurant was chic and nice. The guacomole( above average) was the most flavorable food item i tried on the menu. The marinated chicken taco lacked flavor. The marinated chicken inside of the enchilada lacked flavor. The presentation of the food equated... read more

Fire Hazard – I'm a frequent patron at B. R. guest restaurants, including Dos Caminos in other locations. I have always received excellent services, until my experience at Dos Caminos Soho. I reconfirmed my reservation, but we still had to wait 50 minutes. Their signature guacamole ($12) is known to prep at your table/moveable cart, but it was prepped in the kitchen. All their dishes were good (taste wise), but you can tell it was rushed. How can you not? A table for 4 sat 5, by adding a chair to block the walkway and elsewh... read more

Amazing Food! – The best guacamole I have ever tried and I think it is good for 3 people (not 2 as they suggest). Chicken Enchilladas was awesome, chicken was well cooked. Margherita was amazing. Ambience was nice, candles everywhere. It is a bit cramped though.

Margarita Heaven – I come here because their margaritas on the rocks are the best! Strong and delicious. You don't even notice as you gulp them down until a few minutes later when it hits you :). The guac is the best anywhere as well. Trendy scene and wonderful location. LOOOOVE this place.

WAY Overpriced – This place is incredibly overpriced. The food is good, but $25 for some shrimp and rice, and another $22 for pork and some tortillas is ridiculous. Not to mention $12 for a SMALL portion of guacamole. The thing that really bugged me though was that the $11 margaritas got weaker with each order! It goes without saying, that's a shady practice to keep people drinking. For a great Mexican food experience, try El Bocadito in the Lower East Side - it's cheap and the food is incredible (and authentic) -- also, the... read more

Nice breezes and nice service – I had the "spicy" Guacamole (I tend to like it spicier) and it was quite good! The Skirt Steak was a very perfect medium rare as ordered. The Waiter was great about giving time to relax which is also quite nice! I want to take my Leadership team there and have to try a few of those Taquillas... 2 pages of them to choose from! WOW! Would highly recommend to all my friends!

Mild Salsa... Medium Salsa... Hot Salsa – I really enjoyed Dos Caminos. I went with a group of 8. We had a reservation for 9:30, some of us weren't there yet, but they seated the rest of us anyway. Our waitress brought us appetizers and drinks while we waited for the rest of our party. She was really nice. She checked on the status of our guests periodically never being rude or impatient about it. The food was great. I had the Dos Enchiladas (I ate it all) and my friend ordered the Ribeye Steak Alambre- which was amazing. I ... read more
