Staff ABSOLUTELY needs to be replaced. I will NEVER be returning to this practice, it has cost me huge amounts of time wasted. After being billed incorrectly (and over a year after my visit) I have called the billing department over a dozen times over 3 months & left messages which have never been returned. On the one occasion my call was answered (as I had my insurance company call for me), the woman in charge of billing (Jackie) said she would investigate and call me next day. NO communication

Dr. Donthineni is very pleasant and may actually be a good surgeon, but his office staff is either incompetent or vindictive (if you call too many times to try and get in). I waited 4 months to get surgery scheduled. Jackie (the office manager) never called me back despite my leaving several polite messages. I eventually went to Stanford Medical to have the tumor removed. If I hadn't, I'd still be waiting. She was clearly angry that I kept track of how many times I'd called with no response.

I brought my mother in to see Dr. Donthineni. While we have yet to experience surgery with him, I will say that our experience has been nothing short of incredible. His office manager worked diligently to find a convenient appointment with us. When we showed up, she was bright, friendly and personable. Dr. Donthineni took the time to explain what he saw in everyday terms and also took time to answer our questions/address our concerns. His way of being is gentle, kind and patient.

I was extremely pleased with surgery and Ms. Jacky (front office staff). I initially saw another surgeon for a soft tissue mass that had grown so large that it was difficult to breathe. He referred me to Dr. Donthineni. I saw him the next week. Ms. Jacky knew that I wanted surgery asap. She scheduled it and I had surgery that following week. I like that Dr. D is personable and sure about his skill as a surgeon. I just went in for a follow up appt. and the doctor was punctual. Very pleased!!!

Our family has the utmost respect for Dr. Arkesh Donthineni. He is concerned about the wellbeing of my son's finger that was diagnosed with melanoma, by referring him to the Best care.

Recommended unnecessary surgery without looking at medical history which was expensive and caused residual pain. Doctors at UC Davis Medical Center later reviewed the same files and performed less invasive surgery which alleviated all symptoms.
