I went in for my annual exam but this was a wasted visit. No labs were drawn; no urinalysis. At least I know my blood pressure is good. I was told labs could not be done because I'd brushed my teeth, used rinse, and chewed a piece of gum. This despite the fact I'd been fasting for 12 hrs before that. I've never heard that in all the yrs I've been getting physicals. If that was a requirement, they should state as much. She always ask me have I been hurting anywhere she looks it my Chart..Get blood work..found out I am a Diabetic and on a strict diet..she's concern about my health
If you are a person in a smaller body, Dr. Koroma is fine. She is very thorough and will read your chart and make reasonable recommendations. However, if you are in a bigger body, find someone else. I gained weight due to several factors, and the way she treated me when I was smaller versus bigger was shocking. In a bigger body, she would not listen when I spoke, she didn't believe my reports of my own health, and she treated me like I had suddenly lost 100 IQ points. Late for visit, would not listen to my concerns, and the few questions she did answer, she answered rudely and rolled her eyes at me more than once. I walked out right while she was talking. DISGUSTING behavior for a so called doctor.
She had a degree. But absolutely no empathy for the patient. It’s lovely me she’s super smart, with no feelings.
Asks the bare minimum questions to obtain an accurate history (does not work to achieve an accurate diagnosis), misses important vital signs (treating hypertension), insufficient physical exam, does not inquire or recommend obtaining routine screening tests for age, and untimely to appointments, prescriptions, and following up on labs
Dr.Koroma is very caring and willing to take the extra time address all your concerns.
I have the upmost respect for the doctor. She expresses serious concern about me as her patient. She makes solid recommendations on how I can adapt and improve my diet plus provides access to reference materials. Since my retirement, I can dedicate more time to my health and fitness. I appreciate her input, expertise and attention to detail.
