Not only is Dr. Vafides an incredibly knowledgeable doctor, he is also one of the nicest doctors I have met in the DC area. His staff is very attentive, and incredibly nice and well mannered. I highly recommend him.
Dr vafides is extremely professional. He worked on a number of problems I had (replacing 2 crowns, solving pain caused by a fractured tooth) and took as much time as needed to complete the work to my entire satisfaction. His staff is very nice and professional as well. The best dentist experience I ever had.

I have been a patient of Dr. Donald Vavides for 10+ years since moving to Washington, DC. Previously, I had a poor success rate and a general mistrust of dentists. I have received numerous fillings, crowns, 3 bridges, and veneers from Dr. Vafides. Dr. V has a quiet manner, and never chastizes me. My opinion the best dentist in Washington, DC. Polite, Professional and very gentle. My favorite thing about Dr.Vafides is he follows up with his patients concerning referrals, recovery, treatments, etc...That to me was very caring (and even very organized).
This is the first dentist I have ever visited that informed of both the most and least expensive route to treat any problem. He is up front and honest and his work is impeccable. My veneers are outstanding due to his perfectionism. The entire staff is exceptional in my eyes. Fun, experienced and totally approachable! Loved them all!!!!!
I've enjoyed excellent service from Dr. Vafidies for over 6 years. In addition to providing excellent service for regular dental work he has also performed more emergency services on friends of mine. All had wonderful results and enjoyed the stress free environment provided in the office.
I would strongly recommend Dr. Vafides. His knowledge of dentistry and skills are first-rate, training impressive and his demeanor is calm and reassuring. The work he has done on my teeth has been excellent. I have since moved over 1,000 miles away, but I still schedule a visit with Dr. Vafides whenever I am in DC. Definitely worth the trip.
After years of avoiding dentists for no good reason, I began seeing my wife's denist, Dr. Donald Vafides. I can't say enough about his professionalism and attention to detail. His office space is conventiently located and always pristine. His support staff are engaging and intelligent. I recommend Dr. Vafides highly.
