Dr J has helped us with 4 sets of braces in the family with excellent results...2 are complete and 2 are in process. He is one of the best orthodontists around. Not only does he know how to run an office but his knowledge of orthodontia is far superior to his peers due to the fact that he is not only a practicing Orthodontist but is also a professor (I believe runs the ortho area of UW). I recommend him highly.
I first saw Dr. Joondeph as a kid 20+ years ago. He was so nice and gentle as was his office staff. As a teenager I didn't have a retainer made for my bottom teeth even though Dr. J. recommended one, so as an adult my bottom teeth started to shift. So I went back to Dr. J. as an adult and he took care of me in the same gentle way as he had when I was a teenager. my daughter was in head gear for FOUR years!!! We kept waiting to get the braces put on. They kept saying she still has baby teeth. Finally I went to a dentist who said there was 1/2 a baby tooth in her mouth - why didn't they just take it out - why have you been waiting all these years for braces? I have no idea, but the place is a racket. We went every 6 weeks for some assistant to look in my daughters mouth and say 'we have to wait for her baby teeth to come out'. His new office is so awesome! Tommorow I am getting braces from him, and I tottaly feel comfortable with him! It is so cool how they have big screen television sets, and it makes me happy to actually be going to my orthodontist. Thanks Dr. J!
Dr. J has been a dream. My teenager looks forward to her appts (well, almost) and the staff is wonderful. It doesn't matter who you get - they are all so knowledgeable and have great people skills.
Dr. J has cleaned up the open bite another Bellevue orthodonist left in my daughter's mouth after treating her for 3 years. Her original orthodontist apologized and offered no further treatment for her open bite and jaw pain. Dr. J has a wonderful chair-side manner and he listens. His office is not the found in the newest of medical buildings, but that is hardly important as we have learned a beautiful view does not insure beautiful results.
We have 2 kids who have had orthodontia care from Dr. Joondeph and it is simply amazing the results we've had. His two phased approach worked wonders for both our kids who had extreme crowding and bite issues. Instead of waiting for a bunch of permanent teeth to come in overcrowded, he started in Phase I managing and creating additional room for the permanent teeth to come in. Exceptionally friendly staff. We came mid-treatment plan from Dr. Lovrovich after moving to Bellevue, and they honored the balance of fees due. We haven't finished treatment yet, but my 12 y.o thinks the technicians are more gentle here. We seem to be able to get the times that work best for us. They will bill insurance. They gave my son a free teeth cleaning before putting on the braces. They provide teeth cleaning products with extra flouride for free. First class!
Dr. J is the best orthodontist there is! My teeth look greater than ever thanks to him and his awsome staff! My cousin also goes to Dr. J and his teeth are on the verge of being better looking than mine
