Beware of this shady business. Don takes 10 minutes to go around and take pictures and uses old comps to come up with your appraisal value. He doesn't ask questions, doesn't take recent renovations into account, doesn't look at the lot size nor what's on it. He marked appliances he took photos of as absent on his report. He didn't even check for one of our appliances before marking it absent. I handed him a list of all the updates and renovations recently done and none of that was even mentioned nor reflected in the value.
Total garbage. Stay away from these jokers. Two appraisals by these people in a year. Kitchen completely gutted and updated, half bath added and roof replaced and the second appraisal was less than before the one done by them before the upgrades. And the first one was low too bit I let that one go.
Appraised 30% under new construction cost.This guy is a joke!

Donald came to appraise our home for a refinance and spent all of 10 minutes and simply stated he had appraised it in the past so he didn’t need to spend any time. Over $700 for him to spend 10 minutes here, and then appraised it far under market value. Our mortgage broker attempted to appeal but he refused. Contrast this with another appraisal we had 11 months ago for a HELOC where the appraiser spent nearly 2 hours in our home, measuring every inch of the exterior and interiors walls in order to get an accurate square foot... read more
