My darling esposa of nearly 20 years, J.A. Nice, and I had our first date here 23 years ago. We keep coming back year after year to celebrate that event on their patio — and often just because it is such a great restaurant. Doña Esther’s chile relleño is THE standard by which we measure ALL others. Light, fluffy batter that superbly compliments fire-roasted and peeled chiles and a very nice cheese. My chili rellano was awful there was no cheese in it. The worst I ever had would not recommend this place! Absolutely AWFUL
