Very good food and service Food and service were good when I dined there last week with a couple of my girl friends. We were seated promptly and our drink orders taken as soon as we sat down. Menues were presented and orders taken, The food was delivered to our table, hot, fresh and delicious. Will go back!
They are going to have something you like! My son loves the cheese enchiladas - I think they are "OK". My fave on the menu is the tortilla soup - it's a brothy soup with chunks of chicken breast and avocados. Another good thing to get is the stuffed jalapenos - they aren't on the menu so you have to ask for them. They are stuffed properly with cream cheese and not cheddar like I find at a lot of restaurants (OK - I'm a stuffed jalapeno snob). Great traditional Tex-Mex! I love this place. Same owners of the once beloved Mexigo across the stree! It is really good Mexican food.. great tortilla soup and their nachos are to die for!
Good Neighborhood Mexican Food We've had many meals at Don Pepes. The service has always been fine, and the food is likewise good. The atmosphere is fairly typical of a neighborhood restaurant - nice and clean but nothing fancy.
