I love the hot salsas...cheese crisp...butter crisp all the food is good.
My in laws introduce us to Don Jose's back in the 80's for every Birthday Graduation Prom any special occasion this is where my children chose to go also now their children choose to go
Been eating there since 1966. Bean burros are the best I've had from any restaurant and the enchilada sauce is delish. Cheese crisp great. Great chili burros have lots of meat in them..yummy. Highly recommend this establishment. Fair prices. Good service. Friendly personnel
Good food, friendly staff, great prices! What's not to like?
We have been fans of Don Jose's for years. We need that weekly "don jose" fix. This place is the benchmark for any other Mexican food places. Their beans are tops. The chips and salsa are spot on. The margarita is great. What ever your taste desires this place will satisfy. We had an experience with eating from their food truck. Matt and Allison and crew working. Same great food, same great people. A must try
Best customer service and Mexican food in Phoenix! This place will never break the bank either. GREAT food, GREAT people, GREAT prices! Would highly recommend trying it out. Customer for life!
We used to fonts the original don Jose so when it closed we really missed it. When we found out new owners opened it again we thought. Right how good could it be? To our great surprise everything is original. Have recommended this place to so many. We are there at least three times a month. Large parties or small they will accommodate all.
One of my all-time favorite places. My family has been eating here since about 1975. I was also a busboy here sometime around 1981 or 82.
