I have been going there since it opened. Food tastes the same as it did then, consistency and great food, who could ask for more. Almost forgot - great service
Don Jose' has the best value and Mexican food in the area. The DON JOSE SPECIAL! Tamale, Enchilada, Tostada, Taco, Tortilla, Beans or Rice, Beverage is the best Value. I have had food from the Restaurant and Food trailer very good food all around. Don Jose' also keeps active in the community and supports youth programs. Thank you Don Jose' keep up the good service and food.
My mom has been going here since before I was born! This was a childhood staple and I am so happy it reopened. Definitely a landmark for phoenix. Here is to many more years! :)

I have been going here since before I was born. That's right. I was in my mother's stomach and my parents frequented here often. My father has been going here for the past 48 years. This is the BEST restaurant and my Favorite restaurant. I always get the number 5 and a bowl of Albondigas soup! I will frequent this place forever until I die and I am only 31. I also will always buy the bit-o-hunney and the Good and Plenty afterwards.

Don Joses has been a part of my family since my own mother was a toddler, I grew up eating here and always got the same thing, cheese enchilada and beef taco and beans on a cold plate, never wanted to burn my fingers. This was one of the first places i went when I learned to drive. And As an adult I would always being my out of town friends (including my best friend from England).
