I am not happy with the vehicle repair service section of Don Brown Chevrolet. I took my car in on the 7th of August. I finally got my car back around the August 20, 2024 (a day short of two weeks later). It cost me over $4,300.00 for repairs, yet the original problem (the dragging throttling noise) was not fixed. I'm leaving a review because all I see is six reviews with an average of 1 star. This couldn't be further from the truth. I'm a loyal customer of DBC since 2010, have purchased one new and one used vehicle from them, and have never received anything but stellar service from the service department and collision repairs center. I end up paying $400 for they can flash some fuse Through my engine. for the vents can be clean. so when I left a lot. pick the kids up from school.. and got some gas. I turned out my car.. and the engine was still on the same day. I got my car serviced.. We did maintenance on your vehicle and replaced a light bulb , which had nothing to due with your fan staying on unfortunatley you had another concern on your vehicle resulting in a different repair.
In spring had my oil changed months later discovered a oil leak under the vehicle. Knowing where the leak was I took it back and they wanted to charge me $120 to locate the leak. I told them it's leaking at the oil filter. When they did the oil change and replace the filter they didn't remove the old gasket from the engine and installed the new filter causing a double gasket. Terrible place! I had to put a deposit down for car to be shipped in so I could test drive it. I understand we are living in different times so that was not a problem. When the car came in, they called and told me it was here and I could come drive it. when I got to the dealership It had not been prepared for me to test drive. So I had to come back the next day. Customer has not brought the vehicle here for any kind of repair since the day it was purchased she had been going somewhere else . I did speak with her this week and asked why she was not using her extended warranty that she purchased , she did not realize she purchased one. I additionally got copies for her and she came in and picked them up. Just over two weeks ago we purchased a 2015 Nissan Sentra. We hadn't intended buying a used car in this market, but our 10 year old *** had other plans.
