My daughter needed a good hairdresser and we found one here. She hit git a relaxer and cut and styled. Very happy with her look.
The service here is always excellent. The hair stylist are friendly and informative. They do great hair at a reasonable price. The wait time is minimal. They will do all types of hair with no problem at all! It's a great spot.

I have visited this salon on numerous occasions and have noticed that they use the same brush from one customer to the next without sterilizing the brushes first. That's just plain disgusting! There are a lot of nasty things you can catch that way from lice, fungus and dandruff. I am calling a health inspector on them. Just plain nasty.
Go to las Carribenas In New Britain CT 472 Main st they are way better and treat you better too! They cost only $25.00
Is you dont want to pay the service not that sence you dont like the service new york is new york you live in ct you cant put the price in one bisnesse because you dont have next time say the trust you like but you dont want to pay
Running a very stupid. They charge double because of natural hair. Mind you natural hair doesn't always mean kinky. I have soft curly hair. They are worse than Chinese people. Take your money sking for $40+ for blow out which usually costs $20-$25 for wash and set with blower in New York and some other places in CT. In addition this shop is a whole in the wall. And unfriendly. I would give a ZERO STARS....
In my opinion they workers are downright awful. They attempted to charge me almost double because of my natural hair. Mind you, I have deep curly soft hair. Afro chicks and mix chicks take your money elsewhere. They were asking for $45 for blow out which usually costs $25 in New britain and some other places in Hartford. In addition the shop is tiny and not very welcoming.
