We had the Miami Vice drink there it was awesome they're very generous with the vodka it's a good value!! It is right on the beach next to some volleyball courts so it's a nice convenient location
Local participating in the Octoberfest beach bar crawl and Flippers was the third or fourth stop...bar is nice enough but $14 for a Miller lite and glass of house wine? Sorry with lots of choices on the beach I won't be back

We stayed here last July. Loved every second of it, room was very comfortable, friendly staff, beautiful views and direct access to the beach and the bartenders at Flippers made us feel at home. Definitely hoping for a trip back to St.Pete soon and would love to get a room at the Dolphin Beach Resort again.
This is always a great hotel to stay in. The rooms are clean, the location is perfect, the atmosphere is chill, and the Gulf side view is amazing. It's a bit outdated but if you want fancy go to the Don and spend quadruple!
We love the Dolphin, This is our second stay. We got married on their beach. We originally planned to stay 7 nights but extended 2 nights. We will be back next year. The staff was awesome.
