I would NEVER recommend Dollar rental. This is our first rental with them. Upon check in we were expected to pay over 4x our anticipated charges. It’s near impossible to get in touch with a representative to manage our reservation. Go somewhere legitimate that won’t scam you into paying more and has real human beings to assist you.

Horrible experience. I called in advance to check if my novice driver license was valid for them. They said yes, no issues with it. I rented through the website and prepaid with a credit card. Upon arrival, they refused to rent to me because of my novice driver's license while I already rented with other companies, leaving me stranded as everything around me was sold out. Not sure if we got lucky or if people are just less likely to leave a positive review about a car rental place, but it was a super smooth experience for us and the staff were really friendly and not pushy with extra insurance, etc.
