What a great group of volunteers who do their best to save dogs and who do their best to place them in homes that are a good fit. It isn't about how many dogs are placed but rather how well the dog fits with a particular family. I know some people don't understand why they were not able to adopt a particular dog but the fact is that the folks at Dogs Forever try to find the best fit for each dog. We've had our boy Dexter (formerly duke) for three years now from DF and he's just gotten even more lovable! We don't live in Iowa anymore but I still follow the dogs of DF and their stories, and love seeing more find their families.
