A Dog's Day Doggie Kamp is a great place for dogs, we have adopted 3 dogs and we are proud to board our pups there every chance possible. Dogs are allowed to play with each other and have a nice environment both inside and out. Our dogs have always returned cleaner than when we dropped them off, never with a flea or tick and they really enjoy going back. My Dogs Love it Here! My dogs LOVE to play at Doggie Kamp! All the Rescue dogs are well behaved and Jan cares for my dogs as if they were her own! It is a wonderful feeling to watch my dogs RUN on the acreage and be the dogs they are ment to be! I board them there whenever I leave and have become friends with all the dogs out there!
Doggie Kamp Inc is great for our little dog. My timid, 15 pound miniature schnauzer has always had good experiences here. He has separation anxiety issues, and Doggie Kamp is the only place we've found that he is excited to visit. Although many of the dogs are several times his size, we've never had issues with overly aggressive dogs. Jan clearly knows and loves dogs.
Not recommended Not the place to take your dog. Will never use this place again. We have had two pets killed from this place. We will be filing a complaint with the county. The person was rude and was not very empathetic what so ever.
BEWARE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. We boarded our two labs here over July 4th, 2011. There were over 30 dogs at the facility, with one care giver Jan Rosen. One lab came back with a large open wound in her stomach. Jan didn't even know she'd been injured! The vet told us the wound had been there for over 48 hours and was massively infected. Our lab had to have surgery to insert a drain to allow the infection to drain out and, of course, stitched up. My other lab came back INFESTED with ticks. Doggie Kamp is great! Doggie Kamp is a great place to have your dogs! Jan is a nery nice and hard working person. For those who said its dirty and the dogs are agressive: Jan lives alone with all these dogs that she believes don't deserve to be put in kennels except for when they eat. She has to clean the yard every day, feed all the dogs every day, do adoptions with these dogs, and other house hold things or dog things. And she does this practically by herself. we and dogs love jan<3 this doggie kamp the best i have ever seen i volunter here often and the dogs are happy the ppl that work with the dogs are the nicest ppl and i love coming out here and spending my time just to play with the dogs. if your gonna say this place is bad for dogs and dont bring them here then your dogs are missing out on the funest time they may ever have.

Jan and Doggie Kamp the best there is! Jan Rosen is one of the most caring people I know and spends every minute of her time and every $$$ has to to save the lives of those in need.. surrendered by their owners, abandoned on the side of the road and set to be euthinized at the shelters. I have transported a number of these dogs for her to DKRR and in each and EVERY case they have been completely vetted, spay/neuter and ALL shots.
