I seriously had high hopes for the new Dog & Pony but our meal was average to below average and over-priced for what we got. It cost $70 for four meals, two of which were a hotdog and chicken strips. Fries were over cooked, sparse and one had a hair in it. Other meals were salmon which wasn’t bad but veggies with it were dry and tasteless. I just wasted over an hour waiting for my food which we never received. There were other customers who started taking food trays off the counter because they were tired of waiting. Unless you enjoy paying for food you won’t receive, I would recommend you go somewhere else. We ended up at Burger King.
RecommendedAbsolutely the best place in Boerne for a family to enjoy themselves. Kiddos had a great time. Food was excellent and staff were very accommodating.
Went to give it a try never got our food asked for some help was told they don’t know what we ordered or what the problem was if your going to open a restaurant you need to do a lot better with service today was terrible
Used to be a fave place of mine but I wouldn’t recommend whatsoever. Staff is all young, ignorant kids and food was AWFUL! I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap no blue cheese and my husband got the chicken fried ribeye. My lettuce was bad and wilted, zero buffalo sauce, chicken was nasty, full of blue cheese. Didn’t even eat it. The chicken fried ribeye was a soggy mess and no gravy. Way overpriced as well for what you get. Also waited an hour for this mess and there wasn’t many people there. Playground was nice though!
Our family has enjoyed Dog and Pony Grill several times since the opening! It’s a great place to enjoy food, music, and play time for the kids! We can’t wait to enjoy another family night here!
Great place for the family
Burgers!!!! So we tried the new D&P last Friday and were very pleased. Burgers were fantastic and the place looked great. Service was polite and the price was fair. We will be back to try another item on the menu.
This was one of my favorite restaurants in town, so when it reopened I was super excited. I always ordered the giant cheese sticks... I’m sad to say those giant ones are no longer offered so I skipped getting the cheese sticks. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries and a side salad. The salad bar no longer has cauliflower, broccoli or eggs. So I ended up with lettuce, cheese and croutons so I won’t be getting a salad again at the salad bar. Then the food came.
