I've been going to My Care Medical and Dr Wong for over 20 years. Recently he announced he's retiring. I don't know if it's the fact that he's no longer there, but there's a receptionist answering the phone that is abrupt and disrespectful. I've always had a good relationship with the girls at front desk, for a lot of years. This young lady must be new. After a brief five-minute phone call with this office, I now understand the concerns echoed in other reviews. I was calling on behalf of a specialist’s office regarding a referral that has been faxed multiple times with confirmed receipts. If I could give zero stars, I would. This office — from its shockingly unprofessional front desk to its ethically questionable physician — has been nothing short of a nightmare for my mother, a patient in debilitating pain. Let’s start with the Dr. Lilian C Garcia. Carla, front desk employee answering the phone in this Pembroke Pines office is very ,very, very rude to even their old patient who is just trying to make an appointment and was told that they don’t accept any commercial insurances anymore. Only accepts Medicare and 60 year old patients now..If you have questions you need clarification on, she rudely answers back. You should not treat your patients like this. I am more than happy to find another MD.

I have gone to this office for 24 years. The doctors are great. The office staff is terrible! They don't answer the phone, call back when they say and if you need a referral good luck. I have been waiting and had to cancel specialty doctors because they were never sent the referral. 2 months and they have still not sent the referral, on the off chance they do answer the phone they tell you they sent it.
