Had such a wonderful birthday experience there ! Just wanted to have a couple appetizers and they were a meal within themselves... We chose the Hot Crap Dip served with buttered French bread. It is strange that this place, based on it's location, facilities and view, tends heavily toward the mediocre in almost all other categories. I just paid $5.30 for a beer that is $3.50 at every other place in the county. I've eaten here several times and overpaid for generic foods not well prepared. If managed well, this should be one of the premier spots in Niceville, but it continues to disappoint...

We have been privileged to work with Chef Ernie for the last three years as he has graciously opened his beautiful waterfront cafe to us to host the holiday market fundraiser benefiting the NHS Eaglettes dance team. I always expect fabulous and friendly! But, this year, his staff and menu were spectacular. I can't stop thinking about the catfish. It was the best I have ever had, by far.
