I never write reviews but after last nights experience, I feel I should. This was chance number 4 I have given Dockside & it was the worst. I called ahead to see if they were on a wait. They weren't so we continued in. They had just finished the Friday night rush but everyone, for the most part, had cleared out. The dining room(where we sat) was empty they had a few on the deck & in the bar. Great lunch and service. Blackened chicken club wrap, sweet potato fries, son had Roast beef po’boy, couple cold beers! On point, plus the view..

The view is incredible; the food was okay, definitely worth trying to again before passing a positive or negative review. With this visit the food came out warm rather than hot which is a not so good for seafood dishes. But the flavor was good
The food � was so good n the staff was so friendly � I went back the next day!...not to mention I’m from out of town (Alabama) n sitting on the deck having a drink � was awesome � ... watching the boats � n birds � n flying fish � lol... I would definitely go back n recommend it to others!!!

Waited forever for food. Orders 3 kids meals first(as recommended by server so they could get fed early) 2 chicken fingers and cheeseburgers. chicken fingers were nice and big and pretty good, however the burger was burnt nun was stale but love the fries. But....there food came with our meal which took 45 min to a hour after we ordered and we ordered there food 15 min before ours. So hour later kids got there food. Always great time Dockside, especially enjoy the happy hour as great view of the bayou and sunset. Food is good and reasonable priced. We have been going to Dockside since it was in the original location. Well worth the drive over the bay from Destin to Nicevile to get away from the crowds and still enjoy good food on the waterfront.
The atmosphere was the best thing about our eating experience. We sat outside and was able to view the bayou and watch the sun set. We chose to eat here based on recommendations from friends and to stay out of the spring break traffic. The food was marginal at best. I will be driving to Destin or Santa Rosa Beach to eat from this point forward.
