RecommendedHistorical atmosphere & friendly servers
Ambiance was exceptional. Homemade Bread was delicious along with the creamy butter. Main dish was ok. Not as exceptionally delicious as I expected it to be. but I did live the ambiance. I would recommend it for that. It is a little pricey but as a special occasion good place to go.

Enjoyed a very pleasant dining experience w/ good friends. The atmosphere is very unique in a Colonial setting. We actual ate dinner in the bedroom underneath a canopy bed covering, very cool. The food was great especially seafood and prime-rib entrees, veal Marsalis not so much, not tender, a bit dry and wine sauce was thick. An enjoyable place to dine.🌹
I haven't been here in years, but had such a wonderful experience that it would be hard to forget! Since I just love history the Springhouse Tavern really stood out. From the moment you open the door and walk down the stairs it's as if you stepped through a time portal and went back 200 years. Not only that, but the food is excellent and reasonably priced. I highly recommend the onion soup!
