I highly recommend Dr. Sofianos and the staff. Everything was explained and all of my questions were answered.
I was impressed by the academia of Dr. Dimitri Sofianos. I’ve had multiple spinal laminectomies and fusions and I have surgery again in two months to remove hardware from my sacrum to T-10. Dr. Sofianos was genuinely interested and concerned given the extent of my surgical procedures and the ruptured vertebrae caused by two falls causing screws to push into my nerve roots, a plate and my spinal canal. I had a follow up appointment with Dr.Sofianos. I met with his assistant Sarah. She was very knowledgeable and professional.
Would not recommend. You never get to see him. I have been seeing his PA Malissa S. Nix PA-C, ATC. Long wait times. I showed up for injections with Dr. Spellman and the secretaries told me that he was out that day and I need to call and reschedule. Considering how rude the front staff is and disorganized I would never get surgery here. I plan on going to Atlanta now for my cervical disc fusion.
I came to get a reading of the MRI on my lower back. I felt that Dr. Sofianos explained it and made recommendations as to how to treat the problem.
Dr. Sofianos and his staff are very nice. They always take the time to listen to your concerns. They treat you more like a person
I found Dr Sofianos easy to talk to and felt like he listened to me. I would definitely use him again if I need to.
My visits are always direct and uncomplicated. From the sign-in at the kiosk to the making of my f/u appt. No complaints.
Dr Sofianos treated me like a person and not only did he take my situation seriously he moved my surgery up because of new complications. I don’t think I could ever thank him enough for how he fixed my spine and made me feel 10 times better in less than 24 hours.
