Been coming here since '84. Some of the best tacos in KC
Love this place!! I remember when I worked at Morrow's Nut House (a candy and nut store), at the Independence Shopping Center, back in the early 1980s, having taco salad from the Dixon's Chili down on the food court almost every day. It's been years since I have had that taco salad, but just a few days ago my best friend and I walked in and I ordered the taco salad - WOW!! It took me right back. Best chili in the world hands down! Awesome owners and hospitality! I eat here all the time, and have tried almost everything! The simplest foods can sometimes be the best, in this case it's to die for! I recommend this to everyone! Try it and you will fall In love!

Don't expect nothing fancy but the food is good
My lunch was just awesome. This place is not to be missed. Chili-covered tamales with all the chili fixin's. Unbelievable!
