Really nostalgic to be there, I had a spread with tomalley and chillie on top.
It was really good. I loved the chili and the hometown atmosphere.

I love Dixon's! I have been going there since I was a kid! My grandparents lived around the corner. The best tacos. Soooo much cheese, all you can eat.

Great place, classic ambiance. It's a Kansas City classic that doesn't change with time. Great food and service even though we went a few hours before a Chiefs home game last night, at nearby Arrowhead Stadium.
Order the tamale covered with all meat chili. The chili was tasteless, and so dry. Pouring a hole bowl of squeezing's On it did not help. Even onions could not add any flavor. To me just not that great. But had to give it a try, but would not go back
Food is delicious, I can't pick a favorite, tacos or spaghetti chili, or the chili dogs. Good service and great food.
