Dr. Shiau and the DISC team are the best! This was the first clinic I’ve been to that could really figure out the source of my back pain and make me feel so much better. They are warm and welcoming, and I look forward to my visits!
Dr. Shiau and his incredible staff have become an irreplaceable part of our healthcare here in DC. My husband and I have been going monthly for two years, including for the duration of my pregnancy. Dr. Shiau truly lives up to the hype! From the moment I arrived, he listened attentively to all of my concerns and immediately developed a clear plan to address each one. The level of care and attention he provided went above and beyond, while also being efficient with my time. Best of all, my treatment was fully covered under my insurance. I can't recommend Dr. Shiau enough, He’s exceptional!
Every time I walked in with pain, I left with ZERO pain. I'm not sure what kind of magic Dr. Powell Shiau has but it has been an absolute lifesaver each and every time. I had immense rib pain from tearing a muscle before an 11 hour flight the next day and within 8 hours after my appointment, I felt completely fine and ready to go. I could not recommend this facility and doctor enough!!
I’ve been going to District Injury & Spine Center (DISC) for three and a half years, and I’ve told anyone who will listen about how truly fantastic it is. During my first session with Dr. Shiau, we sat in his office and discussed my history and current pain I was experiencing, and he talked about what my treatment plan would be.
