I cannot recommend DCNIY and I would strongly urge that if anyone wants to participate with an ethical and upstanding group, this is NOT the one. They refused to reimburse our choir for monies owed to us even though we confirmed that DCNIY received refunds from the major vendors they owed money to. They have not acted morally even through all this hardship that we are all facing. Utterly Shameful.
Refund my money for the cancellation of Ola Gjeilo concert!
This company should be avoided at all costs. And costs there are! No attempt to reconcile with them regarding our concert at Carnegie that we paid to perform at. Bad bad bad.
I was set to perform with my choir in New York as part of Total Vocal with Deke Sharon. Our concert was cancelled due to COVID-19 which was completely understandable. That being said, DCINY is now denying our refunds even though in the contract signed we were told if the concert was cancelled beyond our control we would be refunded. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS ORGANIZATION. DCINY has been dishonest in their dealings with my choir. They are in breach of contract with my choir and hundreds of others. They owe us over $15,000 in refunds and refuse to pay. We are a small arts community of everyday people who are facing lay offs and job loss in the COVID-19 crisis.
