To say our experience with DCINY was a disaster, is not overstating. Our concert had to be cancelled due to COVID 19, which was certainly not their fault. What they are at fault for, however, was the complete disregard for the contract they had provided, the disrespectful, verging on abusive manner in which they communicated with the Directors, and the considerable amount of money (ours) which they kept. My choir (along with several other choirs) was supposed to perform at a show put on by DCINY at Carnegie Hall. Due to COVID it was cancelled. The way DCINY handled the matter was utterly astounding. The choirs were bullied and gas lit by them as they held on to our money which was approx $1000 CAD / person. With our event cancelled due to Covid 19, contracts not honoured, refunds not provided, extremely poor communication and company efforts to manipulate the situation to their advantage, dealing with DCINY has been a very disappointing experience. Bill Gates has said that “Your most unhappy customers are your greatest source of learning”. DCINY what can you learn? 1. Customers expect contracts to be binding and honoured.
