Discovery Pediatric Dentistry and its staff have been serving the children of San Francisco since 1986. Founded by Dr. Fred C. Haeberlein and currently owned by his mentees, Dr. Emily Wang, Dr. Melanie Perea-Corkish, and Dr. Ignatius Nate Gerodias. Our mission is to create a family environment while providing dental services for the children of our office. We specialize in treating children because we know how impressionable early dental experiences can be as children become adults.

RecommendedGreat, safe, and welcoming experience in Covid era! I really appreciated the office safety procedures and being diligent on every step of our office visit. Kids still earned their token reward and the staff helped in every way. We have three young kids, 3, 5, and 6 and they handled our family visit so smoothly! We really appreciate it!

Thank you to Dr. Emily Wang and all the staff at Discovery Pediatric Dentistry! They have cared for my 3 children for about 8 years. Dr. Wang has a kind, gentle, comfortable energy about her that made my kids feel safe when we first started. She keeps me well informed of what's going on with my children's oral health. Her care for children is evident in how she remembers them and the happenings in their life each time we visit. The receptionists are all kind and engaging. They all take good care of us!
I was visiting San Francisco with my family last week when my toddler bumped her front teeth at a playground. We were able to get in and see Dr. Nate. He was very patient and understood that we had yet to go to a dentist. It took some coaxing and playtime but we were able to get photos and an X-ray taken for my tot. The staff was great.
