Discovery Inn is.... not too bad at all! Definitely not too bad at all! I peeked in through a window in the parking lot when I pulled up and it looked pleasant (although it seems like maybe the exterior of the place could use a facelieft). I chose the room I wanted (#4) and that's what I got for less than $80 on a weekday. Good service at the frontdesk from the youngman who helped me plan my day. Very good! I like that the rooms were spacious enough to fit all our luggage from our 2week vacation without being in the way. Seems like the staff is pretty helpful here too. Everytime we needed directions, they always helped (especially for food because we don't really know where we're going). Then a few days into the trip, I randomly found out they had wifi so that was a huge plus! Lovely place for boaters and everyone else! Great place for boaters going to Berryessa. Lots of space available for your rig with no additional fees!
Discovery Inn is... worth it! i found this place by googling "napa hotels" and they came up in the listings. every other hotel was crazy over priced and this one offered a good balance of price and services. the overall style of the place is old (looks like it could be one of the older places in town) but they have done a pretty good job on the inside. we had real comforters, good pillows, towels couldve been better (but we bring our own with us anyways). breakfast was just fruit, pastries and a few drinks but it worked. we ... read more
Warm family style feeling Not bad overall. The rooms are on the smaller side but I guess so is the price. Saved a few bucks here and spent that on some good food cupcakes at the Sift Bakery from food network a few miles away. No frills place. Breakfast was just coffee, juices, cereal, etc. Tables outside the office to sit. I'd recommended if you want a clean place to stay within Napa and you're on a budget.
Loving family atmosphere! Every time i come to Napa, i always stay here. The family that runs this place always takes care of me and just because of that relationship we have formed, I can never stay at another place in Napa. I mean honestly, you don't find businesses with this family atmosphere anymore let alone at hotels.
