This company sucks, their website is ALWAYS DOWN, you can't do anything on their site. The login rarely works. Of course if you want to talk to support you can only get info from secure messages which is useless when your login never works!!!
Getting set up on their confusing account page was like pulling teeth. Customer service is terrible. Every transaction is heavily scrutinized and finding out your balance requires a 10 minute phone call and 6+ step verification process. Even after I submitted all the required paperwork they still denied my claim. Some claims they require you to mail in a physical statement to them in ND. They treat customers like crooks and they deny your claim for no reason at all.
I dropped discovery only to go back (regrettably). Not only did they insist on repayment after a denial they didn't know how to spell correctly to get information into system. After a minor correction they promptly suspended my debit card. Getting reimbursement is not worth the effort. You end up doing their job for them.
We have been using Discovery Benefits as our flexible spending account for 3 years now. I'll just suggest to you, as someone who has used flexible spending accounts with a few different companies for many years now, avoid this company like the plague. Seriously.
Something is really wrong with this company. I have been paying for dental and vision insurance with UHC through Discovery as a COBRA account since 11/2018. When I tried to use the insurance on April 2019, 6 months later, UHC had no account for me. I called Discovery and they said they'd notify UHC to activate my account! WHAT? So, what was happening to my money for 6 months? Something is VERY wrong.
Always a horrible experience, my card is on hold so much to the point that I can never use it. Their password requirements online rival even the Department of Defense's requirements. I have to reset it everytime , usually takes a couple of hours, and is different by the next time I use it
I am enrolled in Discovery Benefits with my companies FSA. They are very difficult to work with. Everytime there is an issue I end up online or on the phone with them for a long time. Many times taking hours to get it resolved. I am regretting signing up for an FSA. The savings is not worth the time
