After wearing contacts for 30 years and suffering from tension headaches from dry contacts, I decided to get lasik. Dr Doane was amazing! Immediately after the procedure I could read signage in the room! 3 months post procedure, I have better than ever vision and no headaches! Life changing! My only regret is that I didn't do it sooner!
I recently had my final follow up appointment for eye surgery with Dr. Doane. He and his entire staff were very professional, attentive and thorough. I am able to see again and it is beyond glorious! So grateful to this exceptional man...he gave me back my eye sight and therefore, my very life! I could thank him a million times and it wouldn't be enough. If you need eye surgery.....he's the one!
It's been two years since my SMILE surgery and I still feel good about leaving a 5 star review on Dr. Doane as well as the SMILE surgery itself. I have great vision (a little dryness still but nothing serious) and no discomfort. I would recommend this surgery and Doane to be the one to do it.
I had Smile surgery back in May in Myrtle Beach where I live. I had an issue with my left eye. After months or research my doctor decided to send me to see Dr. Doane. I flew out on the 3rd of October had the surgery on the 4th and flew home on the 5th. Dr. Doane made me feel very relaxed and as soon as he saw my picture he told me he could fix it. What a relief.
