I bought a 2004 Subaru Forester September 12, 2023. It lasted a month in a half the mechanic in Joplin Missouri said the flywheel was broke. I paid $1,500. For the car was quoted to fix it with labor $6,800. Brought it to Subaru dealer paid $130. For diagnostics,test they said something different timing belt was old and worn frayed, pistons shot. My daughter purchased her first car here, with her own savings, intending to drive it to college in New Mexico. The salesman was AMAZING. Low pressure, lots of information. We felt great leaving the lot. BUT The car lasted 452 miles before the engine fried itself. The timing chan/belt fell off someplace in the panhandle of Texas. Apparently something wan't screwed on properly. I went back to Discount to ask for mercy.
